The company is involved with the discovery, development, manufacture and marketing of healthcare solutions and continues to search for better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases and make a sustainable contribution to society.
The company operates worldwide under two divisions: Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics and has so far developed 29 medicines which are included in the World Health Organization (WHO) Model Lists of Essential Medicines, including antimalarials; cancer medicines and life-saving antibiotics.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study (towards a Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualification)
- Studying or intend on studying at one of the following institutions in South Africa: University of the Witwatersrand/ University of Johannesburg/ Tshwane University of Technology
- Excellent Academic record
- From disadvantaged background
- From designated groups (African, Coloured, Indian, Asian)
