Australia’s Got Talent is a reality TV talent show of Australia, debuted on 18 February 2007. It is on the lines of the Got Talent series format of the United Kingdom with Simon Cowell.

After an effective first season, the second season came in April 2008. The 6th season was the final one to be broadcast on Seven. Season seven started on the Nine Network and started airing from the month of August 2013. In the month of December 2018, Seven declared the series would be back to their network in 2019 for the ninth season.

AUSTRALIA’S GOT TALENT AUDITIONS STORYLINE:

It is a show that demonstrates the abilities of highly trained and gifted individuals in the form of vocalists, artists, entertainers, comedians and different entertainers of any age with a winning prize of A$250,000

During the first season, there were four heats which saw around 25 acts contending in each heat. Around 60 acts altogether got the nod from the judges, yet just 40 were chosen to contend in the semi-finals. Likewise in the first series, amid the semi-finals, each judge gave either a cross or a tick.

Every one of the four judges from season seven did not return and were replaced by Kelly Osbourne, Ian Dickson, Eddie Perfect, and Sophie Monk in season 8.

The hosts in all of the seasons were Grant Denyer, Julia Morris, and Dave Hughes.
