Frank Mba, the force’s spokesperson, has announced that the screening is in continuation of the ongoing recruitment and that all candidates who successfully completed the online recruitment registration exercise are to proceed for physical and credential screening scheduled to hold between 24th August 2022 and 6th September 2022, across the federation.

The screening exercise will take place at designated locations across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Mr. Mba also stated that the screening and other activities related to the recruitment exercise will be carried out in strict compliance with the COVID-19 prevention protocols.

According to him, the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has repeated that the recruitment exercise is totally free of charge.

The IGP assured that the process will be fair and accountable. He also advised the applicants to be conscious that there are online impostors, scammers, and other criminal elements out there who might want to take advantage of the recruitment process to defraud unsuspecting applicants. Nigerian Police Force Screening 2022 Requirements

Applicants are expected to come to their various screening venues wearing clean white T-shirts and shorts. The following are also required of them:

  • National Identity Number (NIN)
  • Printout of application submission confirmation page
  • Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level Result(s), Certificate of Origin, and Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age – neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached
  • Duly completed Guarantor’s form

It has been emphasized that applicants who do not present the requirements listed above, will not be screened.
